Details

When Jaguar acquired Daimler in 1960, they not only got the extra capacity they needed, they also got the wonderful, Edward Turner designed, 2.5 litre V8 engine. Daimler used this engine to power the SP250 Dart, which was a car Jaguar would not produce but the engine found its way into a MKII bodyshell. The rest is history.
The V8 250 Saloon offered all the style of the MKII with a little extra luxury, the addition of the fluted Daimler grill and the power of an extremely fine V8 engine.
This example is said to be in generally good order (condition 2) and is equipped with automatic transmision, sunroof and boot rack.
Finished in midnight blue with blue leather and complete with an MoT through to 26th June 2004.
