The first-generation Range Rover was produced between 1970 and 1996. It was available only in a 2-door body until 1981. The Range Rover was a body-on-frame design with a box section ladder type chassis, like the contemporary Series Land Rovers. The Range Rover utilised coil springs as opposed to leaf springs, permanent four-wheel drive, and four-wheel disc brakes. Originally, the Range Rover was fitted with a de-tuned 130 hp Rover V8 engine.
The vendor describes this Range Rover Vogue as being in amazing original condition, with almost unmarked interior, and in the best colour combination. The vehicle has had just two former keepers and comes complete with the last 20 year's worth of MOTs to verify the mileage. It really has been maintained to the highest standard and stored in a heated garage, hence the condition.
The latest MOT is valid until June 2019 and the car has just been serviced, so it really is ready to go. Please note that the radio has not been connected, although the V8 sounds better that radio anyway.
Beautiful and regal to drive and rare in this condition.
