WITHDRAWN - The Honda S2000 was introduced in 1999 and continued in production until 2009. It features a front engine, rear-wheel-drive layout with power delivered by a 1,997 cc inline four-cylinder DOHC-VTEC engine. The engine produces outputs of 247 bhp and 161 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission and Torsen limited slip differential. Features include independent double wishbone suspension, electrically assisted steering and integrated roll hoops. An electrically powered vinyl top with internal cloth lining was standard, with an aluminium hardtop available as an optional extra.
This is an original and unmodified late GT example in Jet Black with the most desirable "facelift" black and red leather interior, including red carpet. Close inspection under the car during it's MoT revealed a completely original example with the factory rubber sill plugs still visible and no welding. A new exhaust catalytic converter has been fitted, together with a new lambda sensor. N/S/F brake calliper and recent new brake pads fitted in February 2018.
The car has the very desirable and expensive factory hard top, which is in excellent condition. The soft top is original and the power hood works perfectly as it should. The history shows 8 services, with a recent service in August 2019. The original folder, handbook and spare key accompany the car.
The highly regarded S2000 was tipped as a future classic from its launch in 1999, and values for good unmolested examples continue to rise, particularly facelift examples like this, in this colour combination with low miles and a hardtop.
