TVR S3 1990 offered for sale, Cosworth powered.

This TVR is a unique example of the classic British sports car. The car was purchased in 2012 from the previous owner who had owned it since 2003. Around 2008, it was taken off the road in preparation for a body off chassis side member restoration, which unfortunately did not happen due to its owners’ personal problems. The car remained in storage until 2012, when the chassis was restored with new stainless steel side members and mountings. 

At the same time, the original engine was removed and replaced with a Cosworth BOB V6 unit, which was de-catalysed. The Fuel system was uprated with a walbro fuel pump and uprated pressure control. A full stainless steel exhaust system was fitted, including manifolds, plus a new fuel tank and mounting brackets, along with a new battery. 

The car has 17-inch alloy wheels fitted with Toyo Proxys 215/45/17. Since the current owner bought the car, the car has covered less than 1,000 miles. The car is being sold due to the vendor no longer using it very often. The paintwork has micro blister so would need to work to it but it is mechanically good. Do not be mistaken this car is very fast with around 230 bhp.
