BMW M5 E28 1987 offered for sale, a UK registered right hand drive 5 speed manual petrol with low mileage.
This M5 has not been driven properly for 15 years and is now itching for a new owner to get her back to her former glory. She has had 3 former keepers, the current owner has had her since 1998 and in all of that time she has only covered 82,000 miles. She needs work on the brakes, new fuel etc. In fact it seems that it is only some mechanical work and a good clean that needs doing. The bodywork looks to be good, with a few bits of rust by the boot of the car, a little bit by the back window and on the back bumper, and the inside doesn't look bad. All the leather upholstery looks intact and the seats still look useable, just needing a good clean. In terms of history, the vehicle has service history from 1987-90, up to 44k miles, then from 1991-1996 there is not history. However, it does have the last 3 MOT's from 71k miles in 1995 to 1998 at 79k miles.
The M5 is unmistakably one of the most iconic saloon vehicles giving a perfect blend of sporting capabilities and luxury. Powered by a 3.5 litre-six engine, the M5 delivers 282bhp, making it the fastest production saloon at its launch. It quickly developed a reputation of being the most capable car on sale, especially when only 2,241 units were made, making it amongst the rarest regular production BMW Motorsport cars. The car didn't just stop at the engine bay though, it featured upgrades to improve the car's handling, shocking to even today’s standards.
The M5 represents a truly special driving experience and is a special car to have - if you can find one.
