1973 E-Type Series 3 Roadster Auto LHD with a recorded mileage of 59,859. This is a fully matching numbers car with a Jaguar Heritage Certificate, and it is finished in the original fern grey colour with a lovely black interior and a good hood.

The car comes with an interesting history. Always a Californian car, the original owner was Hollywood actor Robert Reed, who played Mike Brady in The Brady Bunch. No doubt due to the dry sunny climate, the car has a really solid and totally rust free body that has deliberately not been painted or repaired since its arrival in the UK some 6 years ago. It has a few minor parking dings and blemishes, but it still shines up and presents very well. The car has been rustproofed underneath to keep the structure protected in our climate with all areas subjected to abrasion Raptored in body colour.

Since being back in the UK the car has undergone a full mechanical restoration, including an engine rebuild which now runs beautifully and has excellent oil pressure, a full gearbox and torque convertor rebuild by Alders Automotive, rear suspension unit overhall with new shock absorbers, springs and bushes all round. This has resulted in a very usable car which drives and handles as an E-Type should, and is ready to go as far as you want to, whenever you want to, and as fast as you want to!

The car comes with all original paperwork and handbooks in the proper wallet, a spare set of keys, and with an original jack and complete tool kit in it's tool roll. There is a file of bills and receipts as well as all the old MoT’s. Although not needed the car will come with a full MoT for peace of mind.
