The Midge was born from the hands of John Cowperthwaite of Sheffield, responsible for a handful Originally based on a Triumph chassis the Midge was built using paper plans to construct the wooden body tub which was then covered in aluminium. Running gear and power was based on the Triumph donor. of kit designs during the 1980s such as the Locust and Husky

This Midge is 1971 Triumph Herald based including 1147cc engine and is registered as Historic. The car has seen little use although, Beloved by the current owner of 2 years with 8 previous owners on the V5. It will require a little tuning or fresh fuel but was driven to the venue. Included are a few receipts, a pile of owners club books, and a current V5. Also equipped with Brooklands Aero Screens and a full tonneau cover. The Vendor states that the car drives well and looks good on the 15 inch wire wheels.
