Ford Zephyr Mk2 Convertible 1960 offered for sale. This is the rare manual overdrive version and even rarer convertible example. The particular example not only starts and drives well but was also driven to the auction.

The car has just recentley been partially recommissioned, after having been laid up for some time. Work carried out includes:a reconditioned dynamo, a new regulator has been fitted, it has had a replacement starter and even 4 new tyres. The brakes have been checked and are in working condition and the electric roof is is fully operational. There is an invoice in the history folder for the recent work carried out. The history folder includes the old buff log book, a collection of old MOTs, owners handbook, and a repair manual. There is also a box of spares.

The bodywork is in good condition, with the chrome work shining as it should and the paintwork is good but with a few minor cracks and blemishes. The inteior is just as good, featuring leather seats, carpets and elecric hood that all look to be in good condition.

This is a charming 60s car and it being a convertible is perfect for sunny weekends, offering character, rarity and undeniable appeal.
