1978 Reliant Scimitar GTE 6a. This Car has had 5 previous owners, and has been owned by the vendor since 1995, in 1996 the engine had the nylon cam drive gear replaced with a steel gear, an uprated cam and new valves were also fitted. 1997, a Complete stainless exhaust was fitted. July 1998, engine rebuild by Scimitar international of Havant (invoice included). October 1998, a Factory reconditioned power steering unit was fitted. December 1998 Front suspension was overhauled including poly bushes and spax shock absorbers. 1999, the Interior was subject to an overhaul where the rear seats were removed, a carpeted board was added to improve luggage area and the electrics were upgraded with relays added. Front fog lights, a new uprated SS radiator and a modern cooling fan were also added. 2001, The Chassis outriggers were were replaced and most of the chassis bolts were replaced with stainless steel. 2014, Rear axle mounting brackets replaced and new rear shock absorbers were fitted. 2018, the carburettor was tuned by Airey Tuning of Hinton Ampner. The Scimitar was then taken off the road during covid and has seen little use since 2021. The original rear seats are available for free and are still in the vendors care. There are several MOT certificates, reciept for the engine rebuild, some photos of the chassis work and electrical diagrams included.
