Rare original right-hand drive car. Current owner is an Alfa 105 specialist who has owned the car since it was imported from dry South Africa three years ago, and is UK registered.

It has new tyres and period-correct 15” alloy wheels that have done less than 100 miles. An uprated four-pot braking system with vented discs has recently been fitted. The suspension and steering system has had lots of money spent. The correct 1600 engine starts easily and pulls well with no smoke or overheating. New Weber carbs have been fitted along with a lightweight alternator. The gearbox is very sweet with no synchromesh issues. The car has many original early TI features like a horizontal speedo, umbrella handbrake and front bench seat that folds flat to make a bed for “camping”.

The interior is very smart with two-tone vinyl seats. There appear to be no rips or tears to the vinyl seats or headlining. The carpet is cheap. The paint is superficially shiny but there are micro-blisters on one or two panels and rather more filler has been used when it was painted abroad some years ago than would be considered appropriate in the UK. Some panels have chips and small cracks in the paint. There is a suspect repair to the front RH floor. Lots of Waxoyl has been applied to the chassis and it appears to be generally solid. Certainly, the boot floor and inner front wings are good, often tell-tale signs on these cars. The windscreen has some deep scratches that definitely wouldn’t polish out but these are available for £200. The exhaust seems solid.
