Ford Escort Cabriolet 1990 purchased by the vendors father 10 years ago. Over many painstaking hours, it was restored to its former glory with new front and rear suspension, brakes, a full respray, and a new outer roof skin fitted. To improve security, a Thatcham 3 immobiliser is fitted alongside LED front headlights. The car comes with a powered roof, electric front windows, and spider alloy wheels. Meanwhile, the engine and gearbox are still original alongside the fuel injection system introduced by Ford in 1989.

Unfortunately, recent events have transpired which means the car cannot be stored, the vehicle therefore must be sold, if you are looking for a summer car that gives you the impression of how driving should be, look no further. This model was one of the first to have ABS and the 1597cc engine gives the car a fantastic feel. The only interior alteration is a more modern radio, which includes an AUX lead, so you can listen to whatever you like whilst driving along.

This car comes with a full service and MOT history. The cambelt was done around 4 years ago alongside a full service. The only thing to note is a small tear in the lower part of the cushion on the interior roof lining which needs attention. Unfortunately, receipts have been lost to time. Otherwise, this is a fantastic car in need of a new home.
