This is a very rare example of a 1989 Jaguar 3.6 XJS Lynx Performer, and it is believed that the car was sent to Lynx when new to have the modified bodywork fitted. Having talked with the man who ran Lynx at the time, it is understood that it was only possible to have the bodywork fitted by Lynx, it was not possible to buy it as a kit. The instruments have also been modified, though probably not by Lynx, but are definitely better looking than the originals. The vendor has owned the car since 1998 and there have only been 4 former keepers, the first having owned it for nearly 7 years. There is a substantial history file, and this together with the DVLA MoT history would seem to confirm the low mileage of 73,000 miles.
The vendor states that the car is in extremely good condition, and that it drives very well. As he is now approaching 90 years old, he feels that it is time for the car to have a new owner.
