This car was originally supplied to Marshalls Limited of Cambridge on Rostyle wheels with overdrive. The vendor acquired this vehicle on 1 May 1997. During the following five years the car underwent an extensive nut and bolt rebuild, including full running gear and leather interior. The mileage at this time was 38,136. Within the last four years the car has had further modifications.  It has been fitted with a V8 3.5 fully hand built engine by AutoCare of Weston-super-Mare (classic car restorers) with a 5 speed gear box to match, V8 prop shaft, running gear and purpose built rear axle from Moss of Bristol.  Alloy Minilite Replica wheels were then fitted to upgrade stability with a full Spax adjustable suspension layout. Uprated brakes and pads were also fitted. The interior has been totally re-finished in Cream Leather with Dark Walnut veneer dash, console and steering wheel. The front and rear bumpers have been taken off, and the front re-fitted with a Sebring valance, and an MG C fibreglass bonnet has been fitted. Various other V8 upgrades including the rear RV8 leaf springs, a full luxury carpet set including the boot. The structure of the car is excellent, and the paintwork is very good indeed, though the match of the paint on the bonnet is not perfect, and the rear could do with a matching Sebring valance to finish it off. The hood is a high quality mohair example in very good condition. Overall this car is excellent value, and will give its new owner a very interesting drive! A heritage certificate is included.
