The Alfa Romeo Berlina was produced 1971 and 1977. The engine choice was 1750 or 2000. A different grill distinguishes 2000 from 1750. Also, external lights were different between the models. The 1750 had 7 inch diameter outboard headlights, whereas the 2000 had 5 3/4 inch diameter in all four positions. The tail light clusters were also of a simpler design on the 1750. Gearbox was 5-speed manual or 3-speed automatic on some versions.
This lovely Alfa Romeo 2000 Berlina Type 105.15 was built in February 1975 and exported to Ipoh Malaysia, and was sold there in June 1975. The vendor bought the car in Kuala Lumpur in 2018 and imported it into this country. The car was bodily excellent, as was the interior, but £4500 of work was required to bring it up to scratch mechanically. Anything that was not original was replaced with original parts, and there are invoices to support this. The car was UK registered in January 2020, the vendor says the car drives very well is in excellent condition overall, and starts on the button. The car comes with all the UK repair invoices, an Alfa Romeo Heritage Certificate, and copies of the import documentation.
