The Rover P5 series were produced from 1958 until 1973. Marketed as the Rover 3 Litre, Rover 3.5 Litre and Rover 3½ Litre, 69,141 units were built. The P5 appeared in 1958, as the 3-litre, and a Mark I-A, introduced in 1961. The Mark II was introduced in 1962, It featured more power, and improved suspension. The most notable addition to the range was the Coupé body style, four doors were retained, but the roof line lowered by two and a half inches, and along with thinner B-pillars, gave the look of a hardtop. The Mark III was introduced in 1965 and described at the time as "even more luxuriously trimmed and furnished". Available as a Coupé or Saloon. The engine now produced 134 bhp.

A 1969 Rover P5B 3.5 V8 Coupe automatic which is a true garage find. The owner has had this vehicle approximately 11 years with the intention of restoring it, but has now decided to let her go. An unusual find this one, with low recorded mileage of only 74,000. The owner has just received a new V5c for the vehicle which shows that it is a 4 owner car. The previous owner owned the car for many years, and there is a tax disc in the window from 1997. The owner tells us that the car was running and driving but now needs re-commissioning. The engine turns over by hand, and everything looks to be very original, but will need restoration. The car is in its original colour, and the interior is very original and in nice condition, which is great news on one of these, even the headlining is very good. A valuable vehicle when restored and a genuine chance to own a garage find one of these true classic Rover coupes.
