This 1960 Jaguar MK IX manual with overdrive and power steering is described by the vendor as a very good example of these glorious saloons. It runs and drives very well with the overdrive working as it should, and the optional power steering. The car is fitted with a 123 distributor to give better reliability, a stainless steel exhaust, and the headlining has been replaced along with new carpets fitted to enhance the interior. The tyres were replaced 1,500 miles ago and are still in almost new condition. The engine runs well with good oil pressure, even when hot, with the gearbox and overdrive working as they should. The car appears to have had only 4 owners in total, and the third of those was a Jaguar drivers club official for many years. This car is not in concourse condition, but is a good and mostly original example, that is ready for use by its new owner.
