This is a pre-production Jaguar XJR100 Supercharged, with evidence of use as a press car. The XJR 100 was a special run of 500 cars, only 82 were for the UK market, to mark Jaguar's founder Sir William Lyons’ 100th birthday, and to celebrate, they released the limited-edition XJR 100. Suitably for a centenary gift, the limited-edition saloon came with all the bells and whistles. As well as the standard XJR features, the Jaguar XJR 100 has the optional cross-drilled Brembo brakes and adaptive dampers, It also has trim-specific ‘anthracite’ paint, BBS wheels, and red-stitched charcoal leather sport seats. Plus, it has heated front and rear seats, a 6-disc CD changer, rear parking sensors, a sunroof, and navigation. The paperwork shows that the PDI was carried out by Jaguar at Browns Lane. The car carries no XJR100 badges (boot badge, tread plates, dash), and it is assumed that the car was debadged by the factory prior to sale.
The vendor has owned the car for 11 years, and the mileage at purchase was 73,000. All mechanical work in his ownership has been carried out by Hollygrove Jaguar, and Jagcare Portsmouth prior to this. The last service at 86,550 miles, and genuine Brembo front discs and pads at 84,791 miles. The car is in very good condition inside and out, and is ready for the next owner.
