This is a 1965 Rover 2000 SC in City Grey, with Toledo Red leather interior. It is a 2 owner car with a warranted 60,500 miles on the odometer, and the vendor has owned the car since November 1966. The car has partial service history up until October 1979, when the car was taken off the road for restoration, and work was completed in April 1990. Mechanically, the car was brought up to 1972 spec with a donor 2000 SC which had 39,270 on the clock.
After the restoration, the car was featured in Your Classics magazine in 1991, and again in Practical Classics in January 2013. It has been exhibited at the NEC on several occasions, and at many Rover Club events. The vendor now needs to sell the car, and it will come with a substantial history, a journey log for every outing, and some very useful spares. The car remains in outstanding condition, and is ready for immediate use, with an MoT until September 2022.
