The 1975 Ford Cortina 2000E offered here, is described by the vendor to be in good condition with a few areas needing some TLC. The car has been resprayed at some time and there is now some bubbling on the rear of the near side front wing and at the bottom of the windscreen on the same side. There is another area on the near side wheel arch, all of which has stayed about the same over the last seven years. The interior is also very good apart from a small tear about one inch long on the driver’s seat which has been stitched. The wheels have been refurbished and a set of new Maxxis tyres have been fitted. In 2016 a new clutch, fuel tank, front wheel bearings, brake discs and brake pads were fitted and the car has only been lightly used since. Overall a good solid car that has been well maintained with a good number of invoices and the original handbook. There is little history before 2015 as the car is believed to have spent some time in Ireland although it is also believed to have started life in Lincolnshire.
