This 1969 Morris Mini Cooper was purchased from Paul Higgs Classic Mini Specialist in February 2022. It came with a thorough full service, full new exhaust system, rebuilt twin SU carbs, and new carpets. The car was originally sold through Gilbert & Son Limited of Lincoln in May 1969, and still has its nice original Lincoln 'triple number' registration.
The car is described as having a solid shell with correct vented sills and body coloured floor pans, and it still has its original hydrolastic suspension. Period modifications include original Dunlop D1 alloys (including spare), a Webasto full length sunroof, servo assisted brakes, and twin fuel tanks, which are plumbed in.
This pretty Mini Cooper is not a trailer queen, but is still in a well presented condition with the odd minor blemish. A proper driver's car ready to be driven and enjoyed, as these cars should be. It starts willingly, runs sweetly, with very good oil pressure.
The car comes with a Heritage certificate, and it is matching numbers. It is MoT and Tax exempt, There are lots of service history, MoT certificates, and old photos dating back to the early 1990's.
