1997 Mercedes SL320 with the very rare German SLR conversion (Konradsreuth works). The car was purchased by a London gentleman from a Kent dealership circa 2005 for £16,300 (invoice included). It was then immediately transported to the dream cars company in Germany to undergo the SLR conversion, which cost a staggering €19,104 including transportation (invoices included). In September 2013 an expensive BRC/ LPG system was fitted by Battersea Autogas, a certificate and gas service book are included.
Other upgrades include 18" road wheels with locks, Brembo rear brakes, Sat Nav, steel bottom engine protection cover, customised stainless steel exhaust with lifetime guarantee, aluminium hard top, and a distinctive cherished registration number. There is a well-documented service file that includes invoices, old MOTs, and a service book detailing 10 stamps. Examples with this conversion were changing hands at the time for substantial sums. This excellent example is offered by the vendor at a very sensible reserve, which represents great value today.
